Maria Popova’s labor of love, Brain Pickings, seems consuming. A part of me gets that.
That, whatever you figure is worth doing, building, creating, manifesting etc. is worth giving your life to.
But, is that right, correct, sensible, good, or healthy?
We all have excuses as to why we haven’t gotten to where we want to be.
I believe, the idea that, in order to be masterful at something, that you want to bring to life, takes a lifetime repels people.
We can learn new things and become better versions of ourselves small steps at a time, we don’t have to put our lives on pause in order to accomplish our goals.
Will it take time?
Will we have to sacrifice some things?
Is it possible?
Must we dedicate our lives to it?
What do you think?
